May 31, 2017 Recap of the Beyond1435 Meetup #2 on May 30th, 2017

May 30th was a busy day for the Beyond1435 team: During lunch time, we received a Dutch delegation with 11 city representatives interested in our mobility-focused program. We presented Beyond1435 as well as Plug and Play to them and three of our startups pitched their products.

Subsequently, we held another mentor office hours afternoon with five of our amazing mentors. In 1-1 sessions, the startups and mentors got the chance to take deep-dives into the products and discuss the business models as well as current challenges the teams face.

In the evening, our second Beyond1435 meetup took place with roundabout 120 guests. After a short welcome by Kathleen Fritzsche, Accelerator Director at Beyond1435, our keynote speaker Robin Hoefler from Tesla Germany gave an exciting glance into the beautiful, sustainable energy future Tesla is working on.

Afterwards, the audience witnessed a product showdown between the Beyond1435 startups: NAVENTIK pitched vs. LexaTexer, Memobase Voice vs. myki and blunder vs. Xapix.

After the audience selected the three finalists myki, LexaTexer and Xapix, the latter won the final round. Congratulations! To conclude the evening, three startups from the Berlin community pitched their ideas and products (logos linked):

Thanks to all the guests and everyone involved in the program! We had a great evening.
